I was not condemning smokers, I was just asking the people who care about those who smoke to really care about them. Trust me, they are not showing love by giving you a light. I just tried to show them the light about that:-)

Truth has been in short supply in this country for a very long time.

Americans are way too tolerant of official lying, I hope we have learned that lesson, but I seriously doubt it.

Jessie, I will confess to you that I smoke. Have tried to quit multiple times. Every time I do, my brain turns to mush and I am incapable of functioning. In my research, I discovered that quitting is next to impossible for some people, generally women who started smoking in their teens.

As it happens, I am one of those women and I started smoking daily right around the time that the Tobacco pushers were fiddling with the Nicotine levels in smoking products.

However, I do take responsibility for this horrible addiction by not smoking in public places. I don’t even smoke in my own house and I never ask anyone for a light.

If I could find a way to quit, without becoming a mush-brain for months, believe me I would.
