One thing I cannot stand is an idiot who stands by their supposed ideological representative, despite anything that happens, or anything that ideological representative does. I love Russ Feingold. Let's imagine he became president (and somehow wasn't assassinated within 20 minutes of being sworn in). If President Feingold passed something like the Patridiot Act or the Military Commissions Act, I'd be slamming the bastard as much as anyone. It would make no difference that we both had a pinko slant, or that I once supported him. Why the hell can't wrong-wingers have that kind of integrity?
