I think someone should make Hasselbeck disappear.

It is people like her that are ruining the country.

AuH2O - You are wrong. What Reagan did away with was equal coverage of political candidates by the media. This made sure that only establishment figures were seen by the people of this nation. That was the biggest blow to our democracy in it's history until that point.

So do your homework next time.

> there is always two sides to every issue and
> that every issue discussed in a public forum
> must allow equal time and representation to
> both sides and that countering “opinions” merit
> equal consideration.

Yes, this was called the Fairness Doctrine - abolished by Reagan in the 1980s - and it's something liberals have increasingly demanded be reinstated with the rising prominence of Fox News et al. Am I to gather from this that you suddenly DON'T want it back, and that Reagan was in fact right to dissolve it all along? Leave it to a liberal to only demand "fairness" when it fits his agenda.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: In a Room Without a View

Sometimes ignorance is dangerous. In the case of Ms. Hasslebeck ignorance is not only dangerous, but it is painfully embarrassing.
