By the time historians are through with documenting this chapter in history Abu Musab al-Zarqawi will surely resemble the Woody Allen character named Zelig. In Allen’s film Zelig was a pathetic emotionally sick person who wanted so much to be liked that his body morphed into many important characters thought history. He is seen everywhere and he morphs into many forms. At times Zelig is a rabbi and later you see him as a Brown Shirt standing next to Hitler. Zelig turned up at different places throughout the world, in different forms and as different people with varying skills and professions.
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi seems to be a real life Zelig. He is everywhere! It’s like the Visa ad where Visa is everywhere you want to be, - Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is every were we want him to be! What a guy! He is also like an evil character in a Batman comic where one person like the Joker is responsible for all the bad guys!
Hey…I’m sensing a movie in this…are you with me? Think about it!
