To Mother Nature: Enough is enough
Snow is becoming just another four-letter word as irritated Metro commuters make do.

Time was when the only albatross that spring sprung upon Michigan motorists was the traffic cone.
But that was before the Winter of '05.
Commuters on Wednesday evening had a new springtime nemesis to contend with: snow.
Three inches fell in some spots Wednesday, sticking to cars, roadways and drivers' peace of minds. An auto accident snarled traffic further, backing up traffic on the Ambassador Bridge and onto Interstate 75.
"It seems a little late in the year," said Kenny Lee, 26, of Hamtramck. "Enough is enough."
Enough is enough: It could be an epitaph for the latest winter, if the season ever goes away so we can bury it.
What began as quaint and became irksome is now just plain silly, motorists said. Snow is becoming just another four-letter word.
Today is supposed to be cloudy, breezy and cool with a high of 42 degrees. Temperatures through Friday and the weekend should also reach the low 40s.
No snow is in the forecast. Then again, Wednesday's 3 inches of snow were supposed to be flurries.
This all-snow-all-the-time feeling doesn't bother Doug Mitchell, 40, of Dearborn. In fact, it's good for business. He's a retail manager for Aco Hardware. When it snows, road salt flows off his shelves.
But Mitchell has to drive 35 minutes through the inclement weather to get to work. Surely, it's as annoying as someone going 50 in the passing lane?
Nope. He likes it, especially the way it looks.
"It's pretty," he said. "Don't say I said it was pretty."
