The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge has been called America’s Serengeti -- one of the most important onshore denning habitats for America’s struggling polar bears and home to caribou, snow fox and millions of migratory birds.

But that’s not stopping the Bush/Cheney Administration and its allies in Congress from pushing to hand over this special place to Big Oil’s rigs.
