Unless this is a trick question the "when" on there would imply 'yes'. I have no idea when though.

Btw. I posted a weather related thread from another site on the 'conspiracy' forum.

You all know that I love weather speculating right? And you also
know that I have absolutely no training in it either, right?

Well... We have been having a long duration sub-tropical moisture
plume originating near Honduras and creating a major rain event
across the eastern Caribbean but... it has for the most part stopped
the train of hurricanes...

There is now an upper air low that is apparently poised to sever
that plume... and there also appears to be one last Cape Verde
disturbance following along behind it... and something near jamaica
in the soon to be severed plume...

either of these could be Wilma...

Got Ark?

First... the western atlantic water vapor loop

Now, the eastern Atlantic water vapor loop

(hint: If you block out the two white frames (#2 and #6)... it makes
it easier to see...)

we have TD#24... and it's the one near Jamaica... they (NHC/NOAA) speculate that it could become a dangerous hurricane (Wilma) in 3 to 5 days that could potentially threaten the eastern Gulf...

TD#24

The NHC discussion about Trop Dep #24 states this...

THE GFDL MODEL BRINGS THE DEPRESSION TO MAJOR HURRICANE STATUS WITHIN THREE DAYS...AND THE LARGE SCALE FACTORS ARE CERTAINLY IN PLACE TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

Time to start thinking about thinking about getting ready for Willllllmaaaaaaaaaaa... especially if you live in the Gulf States...

Vee haff Villllmaaaaaa...

But where is she going? The weather speculators think she will make it into the Gulf by Friday, but where to after that?

Vill she go to Florida or Texas? Or even Louisiana? Mississippi? Alabama?

Round and round she spins, where she goes nobody knows...

Ve now haff da twelth hurricane of this ongoing hurricane season... the weather speculators say she will become a major hurricane in the next day or two, will either clip the Yucatan oR clip Cuba on her way into the Gulf and then...

Hang a sharp right paw turn... they think south Florida will be impacted this time around... That means the Keys will NOT receive a glancing blow this time... they think Cat 3...

Now would be a damn good time to start thinking about preparation...

She's a Cat 2... and will probably be a Cat 3 by the time I check in tomorrow...

They say, she may even reach Cat 4...

If you live anywhere in the Gulf Coast area... please pay attention to this...

21 named tropical systems in the Atrlantic Basin ties the record for most named systems in one season set in 1933. Attaining hurricane status ties with 1969 as the most hurricanes in one season...

should we have a hurricane alpha, that would set the record for both...

I think we probably will... what do you think?

 Holy Jumpin Jehosaphat!!!

Right now, she is the second strongest storm ever... 892 mb... Second only to Gilbert... Cat 5 with max sustained winds of 175 mph...

Quick quiz:

When was the last time we had 3 Cat 5 storms in the same year?

Currently, she has the lowest pressure EVER!!! 882mb... still moving to the west-northwest at 7mph with max sustained winds of 175mph and gusts to 213mph... they say she will make a right paw turn once she makes it into the gulf and they also say that she will weaken...

we will be watching...

answer to the quiz... NEVER have we had 3 cat 5s in one year until now...

OK... Pop Quiz #2... in what year did the most major hurricanes form?

and how many?

I have been paying attention. Very rarely have I seen weather men standing with jaw slack and a look of amazement. Somthing else that was kind of strange, I dont know if you had seen it. I was watching tv, and they were saying (this was over a 2 hour period mind you) that the hurricane DID NOT MOVE. Interesting:) I had a gut reaction of uh oh.
This happend on the day before yesterday, or a day before that, I cant remember which. To much information comming in for me of late, everything is starting to blur.
