Thanks!! I have been playing and cleaning all day and hadn't thought to check. I should have known something way coming the way its been SO HOT and humid for today.

Luckily I already got my yard work done, so we will be safe inside.

Good...I don't know if any other active members are in the South or not...don't think so..

There are already severe storms in Nashville so, unless they disintegrate over the Cumberland Plateau, we'll prolly get some, too.

I'd better get off my ass and go shut the doors on the storage sheds, make sure the cats are inside, put the potted plants on the carport so if it hails they won't be cut to pieces, ...and get friend husband's ass in gear to help me, too! :D

The storms started about 11 pm. Lots of lightning with low, rolling thunder. Heavy rain began to fall, but no hail. My NOAA All Hazards radio did not sound an alert, so I sat back and enjoyed nature's performance.

Dodged another bullet, I guess. :P

Thunder storms. I love them. I remember sitting on the porch in Victoria Texas out in the middle of freaking nowhere watching a storm come in. My wife and I had just moved there. We watched it for hours before it finally got to us.

Cat glad you are safe.

Glad you guys are all ok, but please never count on weather alerts 100%. Just like the 10 year girl that was killed in the story. There has been more in the local news about how the weather equipment down there is old and outdated. There was storm in the same area almost exactally a year to the date down there that took out I think it was 15 homes. It may be MN but that section of MN is still close to tornado alley. Very sad......keep safe everyone.
