Court expands relief for Agent Orange victims

Ruling: Veterans who served on ships off Vietnam coast are eligible

A federal appeals court for veterans claims in a ruling Friday expanded the group of Vietnam veterans who may have come in contact with the herbicide Agent Orange during the Vietnam War to include those who served on ships off the coast of Vietnam.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims ruled that Jonathan Haas, who served in the Navy off the Vietnam coast and never set foot in the country, is entitled to relief for exposure to Agent Orange.

That is great.

They also need to acknowledge that Agent Orange was used in the united states also. I was exposed to it, while working at special weapons sites. They used it to kill vegetation around the perimeter. We worked the perimeter.

Haha, not a chance on that, in fact I just found out a couple of months ago, while doing some research on a base I was stationed at. Found out that the statistics for lung disease, heart disease and numerous other problems are way above the national average with a 50 square mile radius of the base.

The state order the base to stop disposing of outdated munitions and stop moving the chemicals on the base. Shit, I drove some of those trucks carrying them chemicals.
