I am not sure, though it seems that we are going to have problems recruiting troops, especially when they see what is going on now.

I agree....as I said in another post, for the vets it's got to seem like they're fighting on at least two fronts...in Iraq, trying to survive, and again when they get home just to get the medical care they need. Who'd want to volunteer for that kind of situation, regardless of the pie in the sky offers made by the recruiters?

I'm going to research how other nations treat their wounded vets. Whatever I find out, I'll post it in this thread.
