Man accused of shooting George Tiller tells AP he killed the abortion provider, has no regrets

WICHITA, Kan. (Associated Press) --
Defiant and unapologetic, a man accused of shooting a Kansas abortion provider confessed to the slaying Monday, telling The Associated Press that he killed the doctor to protect unborn children.

Scott Roeder, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., spoke to the AP in a telephone call from jail, saying he plans to argue at his trial that he was justified in shooting Dr. George Tiller at the abortion provider's Wichita church in May.

. . .

There is a special place for this hypocrite, the Kansas Death Chamber. I will never understand the attitude that it is okay to kill, when your supposed goal is to stop killing. Circular logic at its worst.

But will a Kansas judge and/or jury sentence him to the death chamber? Probably not because far too many Kansans think like he does. These kinds of people are religious zealots...their "cause" is justified and nothing will ever make them change their minds. Their skewed thinking says it's ok to send our troops to Iraq unnecessarily to be killed or maimed, but they don't support abortion rights. stupid lot....
