I doubt it.

the only "evidence" for it that I know of is Dan Brown's stuff and his stuff is so very obviously fiction...

Not all men desire women.

Besides, it could be argued that having done that would have weakened his ability to get his message across, due to the criticism it would have opened him up to.

And furthermore, and my main reasoning here ... why wouldn't it've been mentioned? The fear of sex that pervades too much of Christianity wasn't nearly as prevalent then.

because christains need to have that image that jesus was above the emotions that a common man has....kind of like that "i can suffer" mentality.

Mm. Possibly, although I consider it improbable.

I think that if he was going to do anything with someone, he would have married her, and that would almost certainly have gotten recorded...

*eyebrow*.

It changed some, yes, but if you're trying to claim marriage didn't exist ...

Could be. Could be he had no sex drive at all; that does happen.

Could also be he just had things he considered more important, and then that whole crucifixition thing ... ;)

Ah yes the crucifixion thing. "Father why have you forsaken me"- doesn't sound like a master plan was hatched and implemented according to schedule :!:

The great Shawnee TECUMSEH said: "When Jesus Christ came upon earth you killed him, the son of your own God, you nailed him up. You thought he was dead, but you were mistaken. And only after you thought you killed him did you worship him."

BRAIN on the vertical

DEATH on the horizontal,

intersecting at the "A"

QUOTE-Could be he had no sex drive at all; that does happen.
He was a cross dresser, what with that dress he wore, you know, the shroud of Turin! He doesn't strike me as a virgin. Then again, I don't turin the other cheek.
