IT'S TIMES LIKE THESE WHEN YOU'VE JUST GOT TO MISS THAT DEAR OLD LADY MOLLY IVINS!

Meet our new friend, Georgia State House Rep. Ben Bridges (R), chairman of the retirement committee in the state house.

Bridges is now in a bit of trouble for spilling the beans about evolution being the product of a Pharisee Jew conspiracy to bamboozle normal Americans and destroy Christianity.

“Indisputable evidence long hidden but now available to everyone demonstrates conclusively that so-called ‘secular evolution science’ is the Big-Bang 15-billion-year alternate ‘creation scenario’ of the Pharisee Religion,” reads the letter that went out under Bridges' name. “This scenario is derived concept-for-concept from Rabbinic writings in the mystic ‘holy book’ Kabbala dating back at least two millennia.”

It seems that the actual author or analyst, I guess you might say, was a fellow named Marshall Hall, the husband of Bridges campaign manager, Bonnie Hall. Then they sent it out over Bridges' signature to state legislators in Texas, California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio. And they didn't stop by letting the cat out of the bag on evolution. They also blew the whistle on all this hokum about the earth revolving around the Sun.

Barnes' memo pointed fellow state legislators to the information at fixedearth.com which rails against the “a mystic, anti-Christ ‘holy book’ of the Pharisee Sect of Judaism” and claims that “the earth is not rotating … nor is it going around the sun.” They've even caught on to the "centuries-old conspiracy" on the part of Jewish physicists to destroy Christianity

The genetic glitch isn't just in the eyes, dori, if their weird appearance does have anything to do with their weird thinking. What bothers me is how so many of them have taken their weird religious views, entered politics....and won!

They have won because there are so many who do not or will not think for themselves. Critical thinking isn't part of that genetic glitch.

I have more than a fleeting suspicion that scientists are concocting more lies than we could possibly ever expose. Evolution, global warming, and heliocentrism are only the tip of the godless iceberg. (Iceberg? Sounds suspiciously Jewish, doesn't it?) Consider the following:

- Nuclear physicists would have us believe that most of atomic space is a void, but we know that the Holy Spirit is occupying that space and holding atoms together, and not some bullshit "fundamental forces" of nature.

- If water is really made of both hydrogen and oxygen, which are both highly combustible gases, then why isn't water explosive? In fact water extinguishes fires. It's totally counterintuitive to Christian common sense, and therefore must be false. Jesus didn't turn hydrogen and oxygen into wine, did he?

- Photosynthesis is patently absurd. How can a plant possibly manufacture its own food, without the help of Our Creator? Unless microscopic Jesuses are producing loaves and fishes at a cellular level for our leafy friends then I ain't buyin' it.

Now I don't have no fancy 8th grade education, but if I can figger this stuff out then I don't see why more people can't see through these un-Christian lies promulgated by these pointy-haided scienticians.

I remember seeing this movie about WWII in which the Nazis scared off and/or killed all sorts of Jewish scientists during the Third Reich. It was such a sad movie. The Germans lost.

You know- this would be funny if it wasn't so scary. I mean, someone might point out that it would be easier to teach children with just one book- the bible. Think of all the money to be saved as you wouldn't need books, libraries, universities, brains.

Unfortunately, that is being proposed more loudly than ever. And yes, it would be funny if it weren't so scary...

This isn't only in Texas, again, unfortunately. People in the blue state of New York want this.

No need to have teachers or schools, either. The churches would become the new schoolhouses and the minister or leader of the church could act as principal. He or she could appoint the "instructors." The NEA would be unnecessary. Tithes instead of state tax! And, best of all, those little darlings obedient to the church and/or religious doctrines would pop off the religious assembly line like Bush's mispronounced words pop out of his lying mouth.

Wow...why hasn't the Christian Right thought of this before? :shock:
