Senator McCain, you have portrayed yourself during the past year or so, as a hero from your time spent in a Vietnam prison.
The fact is, while there is no doubt you... Sen. McCain paid a heavy price during your service in the military, that doesn't make you a hero, it simply makes you one among millions of military personnel over the years that have placed themselves in harms way in defense of this country. The only difference between you...Sen. McCain and any other person that’s ever raised his hand in defense of this country is that you was unlucky enough to be captured–and that in itself does not make you a hero-- it simply makes you a VICTIM OF WAR.
So, I ask you. Please drop the claim of being a HERO.
