I was reading the Sunday Edition of the Los Angeles Times newspaper and my three year old grandson grabbed the comics for some read aloud.
Anyways, after reading some I arrived to "Peanuts" by Charles Schultz.
This is an interchange with "Linus" and "Charlie Brown"
I would like to share this particular cartoon:
Linus: "How do you like my new shoes? Charle Brown: "They're very nice, Linus"
As Linus is walking the shoes begin to squeak
Linus: "They kind of squeak though, don't they?" Charle Brown: "Well, Maybe they're not paid for... I've heard it said that your shoes will always squeak until they're paid for..."
Linus: "Do you mean to tell me that just because my dad hasn't paid his bill, I have to walk around in squeaky shoes?" Charles Brown: "I guess that's right..."
Linus: "Good grief!"
Linus: "It's always the children who suffer for the sins of the mother and father!"
