I run a progressive world arts and cultures forumwhose membership has dwindled since a related penpals site with 11000 members was closed down . I'm focused on rebuilding with progressive members.

Looks interesting; what's the focus of the forum?

When it first started it was a open forum for all political parties. At some time it seemed to shift towards Liberals though. It was pretty rough and many Conservatives left. Then there was a board war and most everybody else left also.

Just trying to bring life back to it. Your welcome to come over and put your two cents into anything you want.

I'll stop by when I can and look around. For what it's worth, my own forum is essentially a private blogosphere founded by students of Fletcher Prouty. I suppose part of our ability to get along stems from being beyond "left v. right." While we don't attract a huge amount of company, it's very nice to be troll-free, and to call the shots as an admin. We'll be experimenting with some advertising later in the year.
