As I was cruising through cyberspace earlier this morning, looking for interesting things to post in different TVNL forums, I found that Ed Naha had written one of his more thought-provoking editorials at the Smirking Chimp: http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/1987

Following Ed's piece, members of SC had written some provocative comments of their own regarding "when America died."

One poster said that America died on Oct. 17, 2006 when Bush signed the MCA. Another said that America died when Nixon was elected. And still another said that America died on 11-22-1963. (You can read Ed Naha's comments and the comments I've mentioned by the SC members at http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/1987 )

So, has America died? If so, when do YOU think it happened?

:?: :!: :?: :!:

Ok. I watched it.
My two favorite parts of that epidsode:
1) North Korea's causing trouble in order to influence the November election. "They're ramping up the violence so that Americans will turn against the Bush administration." (How could he even say that w/ a strait face?)...hahaha
2) Stewart's reasoning for why America's on the decline:

(He showed the chocolate-chip pancake wrapped around the sausage on a stick, though.)
hehe
