I just recently got my first credit card. I've managed to build a little credit the last few months through it and my car payments.
So here's my question. I got a new credit card in the mail yesterday, sent by Capitol One. There's a few things about it that have me believing it's fake, though. The first thing that threw me off was the fact that the letter which came with it had no info on the back. Then I noticed a weird visa logo. Also, stupidly, the writing on the back of the card was upside down. :/
I'm pretty sure it's fake, but would like some verification. If so, can I report this anywhere?

Call Capitol One first and check with them. Then notify your local police department they may have some information about fake cards. If all the information is then verified to be fake, I would also contact the local television company and tell them what happened. They might put it on television and let other people know what happened.

You got good eyes. But, it could also be a misprint and be a real credit card. Like I said though, first place to check is the bank.
