Anybody taking advantage of some of the great deals Black Friday has to offer?

My bf and I weren't satisfied with the 47" hdtv that we bought a couple weeks ago, so we returned it and decided to get a different one. Unfortunately, it's not one of the ones that's going to be drastically discounted today...so we'll be stuck paying full price. :( ...Oh well. :crybaby:

Ooo...And my bf bought me a Nintendo DS Lite, with Final Fantasy III and the new Super Mariio Bros for my birthday. :D He's gonna get me a GBA/NDS movie player to go with it too.
Awesome gift.
I'm totally happy.
:D :D :D

You could always do a little snooping...

I'm really bad with having to wait and find out what gifts are.
After finding a hidden present one year, though, I decided never to do it again. ..There wasn't anything to look forward to anymore. :?

She got both girls a Nintendo Micro to see how they handle taking care of them. We have a number of video game systems and have been thinking of Xbox 360 not sure yet.

My wife wants a Bishon Frise for Christmas. We already have two collies. My oldest daughter wants a pug. I will have a house full of dogs. LOL

I love dogs and will get her the Bishon, in fact I have one already. There was a ad in the paper for pups and they will hold until Christmas. They were a good price so what the heck.

Wonder what a Bishon/Collie would look like.

uhhhhh... I guess your boyfriend's paycheck finally cleared... but since it bounced once, do you think it prudent to be so lavish?

Or did you just use plastic?

Hopefully that was a one time situation.
He's been wanting a new tv for a while, so I'm not going to say no.

And woops...it's a 42", not 47".
