Good morning, all members of TVNL...

Did everybody sleep well? Stay warm? Are you ready for another day at work or another day of leisure? Whatever you've chosen to do today, good luck and have a safe one.

What are your favorite breakfast items?

Hey!.. Who's job is it to make coffee here? Tired of waiting..

On one of my old Bass Fishing sites (forum), we have a lady (Georgia Peach) from Atlanta who gets up and make the coffee every morning before she leaves for work. Now, that's what I call dedication..

Eggs over medium, ham or link sausage, hashbrowns, toast.

Sorry, that's lefty's job...why hasn't she made the coffee? Maybe she doesn't know it's her job! :P lefty was here earlier, helping me rid the board of porny trolls...In all the excitement of chasing them down, she probably forgot to make it.

Here, I'll do it...what kind would you like? French Roast? Hazelnut? Chocolate Macadamia Nut? Decaf? Maxwell House? Luzianne Chicory?

Would you like yours white or black?

I'll see what's going on in the kitchen...and your breakfast will be right out!

I'm sure it could be lefty's job, since the run rises a few minutes before we see it here in Kansas.

I'm a Folgers man, but Maxwell will do... Regular type. None of that fancy tasting French Roast, Hazelnut, or Macadamia.. I get enough of that from the wife's trying to fool me.

Great, we'll put Folgers on the order list.

I've heard that dori makes a good cup of coffee and that her banana nut bread is EXCELLENT! lefty, being a southern girl, should be able to make good grits, and I, being also a southerner, can make biscuits that are as light as a cloud. :D

Excellent!. Dori can bring the Banana Nut bread.. One of my favorites.. Hey!. let's make a deal with lefty. No Grits... I remember the grits from flight training at Pensacola back in 1949-50.. Still can taste them.

I do not like grits. I honestly can say I think they are disgusting and I am a cream of wheat girl. (Most people here don't even know what cream of wheat IS!)

I'll make the coffee. I prefer gourmet though, but I'll put on a pot of maxwell house just for you, Fisher. :)

lefty, we may have passed in the wind somewhere.. No grits for me. However, I love Cream of Wheat. Have it at least once a week. Fix it myself, just like Mom did it.

Okay, no grits, even though I happen to like them.

Muffins? Oatmeal?

Cereal? Jams and Jellies?

I do, I do! with milk and sugar! Oh, and toast.

OR

I prefer cinnamon rolls. Two, one for each hip. Wouldn't want to get lopsided.

I prefer chocolate in my coffee.

I am fine with the banana nut bread, but have to have oatmeal too. Brings down the cholesterol. Cooked is fine with me, but you all might prefer an oatmeal bread or muffins?

And I am only allowed to drink water, so don't have any coffee on hand. Sorry.

I love homemade oatmeal with cinamon, raisins and brown sugar. Yum.

Why can you only drink water?
