Bush fails Jimmy Kimmel's citizenship test

One year before the U.S. Naturalization test is redesigned, experts think that the exam will increase in difficulty. According to comedian Jimmy Kimmel, our Commander in Chief may have to do some brushing up himself.

With a little help from his editing room, Kimmel showed President Bush struggling with some of the newer, trickier questions. When asked, "How many amendments does the Constitution have?" Bush could only manage a shrug.

Then came a query about the number of voting members in the House of Representatives. "You just put me under the spot here," replied the President. "Maybe I'm not as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one."

Kimmel also joked about the GOP's anxiety surrounding the decision of Idaho Senator Larry Craig's to remain in office despite his arrest in a Minneapolis airport.

"Republicans aren't happy with him. They want him out of there," said Kimmel. "A lot of them have stopped talking to him. Some have stopped having sex with him."

The video {at the link} is from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, broadcast on October 4, 2007.
