Deadheads unite! Where are you? What are you? We want to hear from you!

First heard them in the summer of 1970 when a draft dodger came to my home town from California and brought their music along. We had a motto- "You can't leave the house if a Dead record is playing until it finished. Break out the bong and relax, groovin' to the tunes." Ah the good old days. Gone but not forgotten. Ah youth. Thank god's it only happens once.
I have a copy of the first self titled album and Aoxomoxoa and plan to fill it in with Workingmans Dead and American Beauty. My favorites. Of course Live Dead, Skull and Roses as well as the Ice Cream Kid- live europe, are my favorite live events. There are no bands quite like the dead and may never be again. I read the Phil Lesh book "Searching for the Sound" which gives a good behind the scenes look at their lives and events from their conception up to 2000. Excellent read.
I will definitely get those DVD's. Copied the GD movie off PBS recently. Miss Jerry and his bluegrass stuff. Check out the Pizza Tapes and Shady Grove.
I saw them live in Buffalo while "
Truckin' down to Buffalo".
Thanks stripey. Keep on truckin'.
