If you were an Obama supporter, I get that, but it's time to pull your head out of the clouds and realize that you got fooled again. It's hard to resist multi-million dollar marketing campaigns that give one the urge to rush out to buy the "new and improved, lemony-minty fresh" product, but it also usually doesn't take one long to figure out it was only the same old garbage in a new package.

I also knew this from the begining.

Unfortunatly, there is no way out. I see and fully understand this now.

Let me rephrase that. There is only one way out and its not going to happen.

I can also understand the urge to "have it both ways." However, you can't be intellectually honest with yourself, or your own heart and support the Democratic Party. It is simply too incongruous. The only way to show that you are for peace and against racism, tyranny, and the destruction of the environment, is to not bend to, or bend over for, the War Party

I am an admirer of Cindy Sheehan, and I wish she had offered up some solutions of her own to the many and varied problems that continue to plague our nation. She didn't. Instead, she only says that we should not support the "war party" after offering a rather whining criticism of having been abandoned after Obama was elected. I wonder if Cindy thinks that a McCain-Palin administration would be doing a better job of governing our country. I'm sorry that her cause lost steam after the election. Too bad Cindy hasn't marketed herself like the half-term governor of Alaska Sarah Palin has...perhaps Cindy would still have tons of followers and I'm sure a much more sensible message.

I was going to respond with something different, but I realize it would be quite useless. Instead I will leave you a quote.

"Ignorance may be conveniently divided by the legislator into two sorts: there is simple ignorance, which is the source of lighter offences, and double ignorance, which is accompanied by a conceit of wisdom; and he who is under the influence of the latter fancies that he knows all about matters of which he knows nothing."
