War would be the greatest evil on earth even if it cost no money, used up no resources, left no environmental damage, expanded rather than curtailed the rights of citizens back home, and even if it accomplished something worthwhile. Of course, none of those conditions are possible. http://mycatbirdseat.com/2011/02/david-swanson-humanitarian-war-vs-humanity/
Nice piece CE!!
***Owning people out of the kindness of our hearts is one thing, I believe, but doing it against their will is quite another. And who has ever willfully chosen to be owned?
I couldn't help, but to think about our position after 911. We, the superpower, the VICTIMS?
Then, as a cordial reminder to the rest of the world, our "VICTIMS STATUS," was extended to the Iraqi people, back in August of 1990, by mutilating hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.
Who says, "misery doesn't love company" huh!!
And to make it clear, that democracy in America, is the end result of who has the most money, our government has extended it's "liberation" to it's own people, by owning them as well.
Kinda makes you want to hunt for night crawlers, so you can get use to your new neighbors huh!!
