Has any one noticed more talk about Afganistan on the MSM the past few days or so? Now watch - they'll probably be distracting us with bin laden again to take our minds away from this criminal admin. and impeachment.

Just par for the course briz:) Actually, I'm more impressed with the coverage I've been seeing of the stolen pastry that looks like Mother Teresa. To think that this is something that they consider to be newsworthy simply blows my mind.

Welcome to the board.

Thanks for the welcome Crimson. And you're right about the Mother Theresa thing--just more distraction but people will eat it up-- no pun intended. Man-o-man we are in a sorry state of affairs.

It's much more important to report about Tori Spelling being "engaged," what Bush is "reading" over the holiday, and oh, yes...the bun that looks like Mother Teresa, and that the Clinton Impeachment made the history books!

Did you see the report about the artwork in Austria that showed QE2, Bush, and Chirac in a menage a trois?

Tony Blair will be JEALOUS!

That damned liberal media...

Yeah, I just watched CNN for less than an hour and saw 2 stories on Afghanistan. I haven't seen that many in the last year. They are trying to keep the focus away from the failed election in Iraq. Doesn't look good for Bush to show thousands of Iraqis in the streets protesting the corrupt election after Bush already told us how wonderful it all was.

And they also need another murderous event like 9/11 to get people to start backing bush&co. Only this time I'm afraid it will be much worse. So bring back the boogey man osama and they can blame him again. Then Martial Law and all their problems are solved. And the thing that really scares me is that it could happen TODAY!

Not today. New Year's Eve.
The NeoCons will pick Seattle, or LA waste a few thousand law abiding citizens for the greater good.
