The Center for American Progress explains how Uncle Dick effects the implementation of Congressional legislation ~ and that Cheney, not Bush, is the ultimate decider in this near fascist administration.

CHENEY'S OFFICE REGULARLY SCREENS LEGISLATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER BUSH WILL IGNORE LAW

by Judd Legum, Faiz Shakir, Nico Pitney
Amanda Terkel and Payson Schwin / American Progress Report

A report this weekend by Charlie Savage of the Boston Globe details the heavy influence Vice President Dick Cheney and his chief of staff David Addington have had in carrying out the administration's controversial "unitary executive" theory.

(Savage previously reported on how President Bush had "quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office.")

The Vice President's office "routinely reviews pieces of legislation before they reach the president's desk, searching for provisions that Cheney believes would infringe on presidential power," Savage reports.

When such flags are raised, Addington is the "leading architect of the 'signing statements' the president has appended to more than 750 laws," asserting Bush's right "to ignore the laws because they conflict with his interpretation of the Constitution." (Read U.S. News's recent comprehensive profile of Addington.)

The Bush administration has "used such statements to claim for itself the option of bypassing a ban on torture, oversight provisions in the USA Patriot Act, and numerous requirements that they provide certain information to Congress, among other laws."

Confirming that Bush is really “Pinky” and Cheney is the “Brain”.

Why don’t we all organize and take to the streets in a massive protest? How about we all show up at the white house throw up the reich and shout sieg hiel for an hour. ANYTHING.
This douche-nozzle in the white house will NEVER take us seriously if we all remain just puddles in an ocean of shit. What’s it going to take to get you ALL up off your lazy asses and accomplish something?

Something PRODUCTIVE. Something PROACTIVE.

SOMETHING!

ANYTHING!

HELLO-O-O-O-O-O

Buy some toy soldiers at the dollar store and tape "BRING OUR BOYS HOME" on them and deploy them in patriotic or meaningful places. Bus stops, War memorials, restaurants, Wal- Marts, tourist venues, military bases, recruiting centers, market fruit and vegetable displays as you walk down the street, etc. Cheap and fun.

Use a full sized US flag and get a big pile of Bull shit to put the flagpole in - that would cause a few raised eyebrows. Especially if there was a cutout of bush dancing underneath it.

Make miniature flags of Bush/Cheney Etal, and stick them in steaming heaps. I just went outside and put a flag, with a picture of Bin Laden sodomising George Bush, in a huge doberman shit outside the local shops.

I am planning a raid with several others to put flags with major politicians
pictures on them - in a big pile of doggy doo near to bus shelters from here to as far as they go. Do something shitty today. Plant a Bush/Cheney flag where it belongs. In a pile. Save your turds and pile them high and stick so many flags in it that one can't help but "Get the Message." Then take pictures of it and send it to your representatives in the House and Congress- With the words- "Your picture could be next!"- If you don't vote to impeach Bush/Cheney.

Help save America from becoming another pile of shit by putting the real piles of shit where they belong. Bush/Cheney GOP/POS (Pieces Of Shit)
