Can anyone tell me more about Jerry Bowyer from National Review Online? He's the guy in the video below who went on Fox today and chatted with Neil Cavuto about how having a single payer health care system will make us more vulnerable to terrorism. Where do they find these guys? Did I just not watch Fox closely enough in the past?

Is he on these shows a lot? Has anyone heard this argument before?

My wife and I and another couple just saw Sicko on Wednesday, and I understand why the wingnuts are terrified. This movie will change the minds of a lot of people who don't even care about politics, and maybe it will even open the eyes of some hypnotized automatons on the right.

The insurance companies are crapping in their pants right now!

Capital BlueCross VP of Corporate Communications Barclay Fitzpatrick recently went to see Moore’s film SiCKO. In an internal memo, he writes, “You would have to be dead to be unaffected by Moore’s movie.” He worries that if “popular, the movie will have a negative impact on our image in this community,” and suggests “talking points” to discount the film. I can't wait to see SICKO...glad you and Mrs. Shoe liked it. :P Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall of the medical insurers' walls?

Pam and I and Jim and Diane saw it in Barrington, IL, one of the richest suburbs in the entire country.

The atmosphere was much different than that during Fahrenheit 911. Everyone was very quiet. I think everyone was as shocked as I, my wife, and my friends were. I think I wasn't the only one with wet eyes.

Everyone applauded at the end.

This is an amazing film. You have to see it to understand. I won't even begin to tell you about it. Just go see it.

The insurance companies are crapping their pants. I think it's over for them. This isn't even political at all. They are raping us, and now Moore has exposed them.
