You know, now that I think about it, you ARE right and I'm wrong.
You're right, because this HAD to be an act of God that did this. His Hand on that barge, guiding it until it hit. And it a way, He did what the Government couldn't do...take out the 9th Ward. And it's good that he did, all the crime, prostitution, drugs, pimps and gangbangers, and look at the end result. High crime rate in the city, governors that didn't do anything but give our leaders headaches.
And all those people on welfare, don't want to work, just laying around smoking their dope, stealing from all those good people in the city. And lets not forget how they reacted to people trying to get them out! Shocking is it? Well...maybe it is good that section of the city is gone... however it was done. The welfare rolls certainly will drop won't it. Thank God! Let them be some one elses headache. You know how those people are.
Now, maybe IF and WHEN they rebuild the city, they can get a better class of people in there this time. You know, the money people. I'm sure that our government has plans for this. I'm sure they'll lend a hand to insure the wrong types of people never come back to New Orleans, get them housing somewhere else, throw a llittle bit of money at them (ought to keep Jackson and people like him happy).
So maybe we need to THANK Mr. Bush for being so slow to react, and FEMA, if they would have been there as quickly as they showed up in Fla, Lord knows we'd still have those people here. So thank you Mr. Bush, and thank you all for showing me the errors of my ways.
