That's pretty darn good dori. Scary looking old folks. Nothing like a well dressed old soldier and then giving a gun to some scary looking wrinkled up old geezer with dementia/senilty problems. How do you spell relief after 60? D-E-P-E-N-D-S. Standard issue with each backpack.

In the reality based community- OLD SOLDIERS never die, young ones do.

I guess it's better than putting them in the hands of 2 year olds, but hey, when the shit hits the fan, countries have been known to send their children and seniors as a last ditch attempt to postpone the inevitable. If they ever start this here, in reality, we know we are watching the last throes of empire.

I am afraid we might be getting close DO.g's, that particular Navy veteran never sends anything that has to do with the war. He generally sends only uplifting pieces and jokes.

We are all waiting with baited breath for whatever news comes Thursday. I can only imagine what people with loved ones in the military are going through at this point.
