Outrage Over Last Supper Orgy Image Rattles Vienna Museum

A Catholic Church-affiliated museum in Vienna was shaken up this week by a controversy that erupted over the display of an unconventional rendering of Jesus and his disciples sharing the Last Supper—and then some—in an exhibit called “Religion, Flesh and Power.” The etching, by Austrian artist Alfred Hrdlicka, depicts Jesus and his faithful followers engaging in sex acts, an interpretation that has proved highly unpopular in some circles.

Oh, heavens...S.E.X. among all those men! The Christians can believe that Jesus rose from the dead but they refuse to acknowledge that he and his disiples might have engaged in a most basic human need, and I'm not talking about eating food.





Wouldn't you know!

It is always hard for me to tell which revelation they fear most whether there was just sex (homophobic fear) or admitting that Jesus could just possibly be the original feminist by having women disciples as well as men. Of course, lesbian disciples would cause immediate cardiac arrest among the fundies.
