How many of you are going to be watching the 2006 Winter Olympics?

I dont think well have any games if they keep suspending people for having enlarged ear lobes, dirty fingernails, or their turds are not straight. Whats next they gonna ban gays and lesbians too.

I'll probably end up watching some hockey, but will not be able to stomach the politicised atmosphere that dictates the games and the participants. Hope there are no disruptions though from the real world conflicts.

Sports is for those who need a distraction from the real world of conflict, and need to imagine it is non confrontational. Remember that when the games started in Ancient Greece, all wars there stopped to have the games, and the winners were celebrated heros when they returned to their city states. Now it's about the money and status for the country.

I'll be watching the Steroid Games/Olympics, waiting for the REAL Athletes to particpate in the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games
