Ha, this is actually funny

For all those men who say, Why buy a cow when you can get milk for free. Here's an update for you: Now days, 80% of women are against marriage, WHY? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

Men are like....

1. Men are like ...Laxatives ..... They irritate the crap out of you.
2. Men are like.Bananas ....... The older they get, the less firm they are.
3. Men are like ......Weather . Nothing can be done to change them.
4. Men are like Blenders You need One, but you're not quite sure why.
5. Men are like .....Chocolate Bars .... Sweet, smooth, & they usually head right for your hips.
6. Men are like ....Commercials ....... You can't believe a word they say.
7. Men are like Department Stores . Their clothes are always ½ off.
8. Men are like ..Government Bonds ... They take soooooooo long to mature.
9. Men are like ..Mascara . They usually run at the first sign of emotion.
10. Men are like .Popcorn ..... They satisfy you, but only for a little while.
11. Men are like Snowstorms .... You never know when they're coming, how many inches you'll get or how long it will last.
12. Men are like .......Lava Lamps .... Fun to look at, but not very bright.
13. Men are like Parking Spots All the good ones are taken, the rest are handicapped.

I love humor:) I know that much of what I write on this site is of a serious nature, but I just LOVE to laugh, and to make others laugh. I constantly do foolish or nutty things just to get a laugh out of someone.

Lol, my wife just HATES going out in public with me:) She just never know's what I'm going to do.

I do love life. Perhaps thats why I'm fighting so hard.

I do love life

So do I! I was walking around my house on Thursday when the sun was shining, the air was cool with a brisk wind blowing, and I was admiring all of my flowers, plants, and trees. The sky was Carolina blue, and the mountains in the distance showed just a hint of the coming autumn color. The hummingbirds were dancing around the feeders, and the butterfly bushes were alive with Monarchs. I breathed in the smells of the fallen leaves and the last cutting of hay from the field in back of my house. I thought of how fortunate I am living where I do, being retired, and having the time to enjoy all of these gifts from nature. I have some pampas grass scattered throughout the property that is absolutely gorgeous this year with their feathery fronds, some pink, some white, and some of them a misty yellow.

It doesn't take much to make me happy. But I am going to miss my flowers as autumn brings on the winter. I'll miss the hummingbirds and the butterflies. I"ll miss the little fountain my husband gave me for our anniversary in April, as it will have to be cleaned out and the water turned off to keep it from freezing. But, hopefully, I'll be around to enjoy them again next spring and summer.

When I think of how fragile all life is, I am so aware of how important it is that we live within the day, to laugh, and to not be always seeking that almighty dollar. We need to take every opportunity to be in the midst of nature, to enhance it and to protect it. We need to spend every possible moment that we can with those we love and with what we love.

Life is good, and laughter is just one more perk we have as long as our hearts are beating.

Catherine

When I read your post a few weeks ago - I knew I had something
to compliment it. I finally found it.

When we get to the end of our lives - I hope we find we have not only lived to the end - but we lived also to the length and width of it as well.

When we came into this world - we were crying, and everybody around us was smiling and laughing.

Lets hope when we leave this world - we are smiling and laughing, and everyone around us is crying.

God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.

Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.

Laugh every day - its like inner jogging.

The most important things in your home are the people.

Growing old is inevitable - growing up is optional.

There is no key to happiness. The door is always open. Come on in.

A grudge is a heavy load to carry.

He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.

Nothing is real until you experience it, otherwise it is only hearsay.

It's allright to sit on your pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you're done.

Surviving and living your life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams you seek requires courage and risk taking. Learn from the turtle,
it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.

Be much more concerned with your character than your reputation.
Your character is what and who you really are.
Your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Leave gentle fingerprints on the soul of another for the angels to read.

No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
