I find this to be fascinating beyond description because of the possibilities.
Let me explain. About 10 years ago give or take, sitting within my own thoughts, I envisioned something like this through the use of magnets. After mulling it over in my mind for quite some time I "knew" it was possible. (Don't ask me how....I just knew. I have no explanation)
I was so sure of this that I went out and spent a pretty penny on magnets, gear's, bearings, ect, ect and I began to work on it. Unfortunately, though I "knew" it was possible....I just didn't know how to do it.
I would periodically work on it, yet did not have the insight to change the basic set up. The most that I was ever able to obtain was a few revolutions. I was basically "stuck".
Due to some of lifes circumstances, this eventually moved to the back burner. Though it would occasionally cross my mind at odd times causing me to draw up a quick sketch with little tweaks, for all intents and purposes it was dead.
This has fascinated me to the point that I will have to dig out all the old material and have another go at it.
Note: Perpetual motion IS impossible. This suggestion of perpetual motion is misleading because eventually things will wear out due to mechanical breakdown from friction, thus it is not perpetual.
However, this is a form of free energy.
IF I succeed, I will video tape it and show all how it is done. The only way to beat the energy mammoths is to put out ideas like this for free and to teach people how to do this themselves. As soon as it is put up for a patten, it is as good as lost.
We not only have to imagine a better world. We have to be the ones to create it because "THEY" are sure as hell not going to do it.
