i am reading thru the second link http://webexhibits.org/bush/index.html
where they are pointing out the bush misuses of science. It looks real good.

The first site, "The Seven laws of Bogus Science" was confusing.
Those seven laws could be used to keep real insights and inventions, discoveries, out of the public realm. Its as if there have never ever been any suppressed technologies - do you believe that?

These laws are from the pharmaceutical sciences I think... and thats where we would find the "suppressed information", either to a new cure or info on harms of certain pills.
We all heard that story about Paxil publishing ONE report that was positive out of FIVE that had been done, the other four all negative about Paxil's effectiveness.

So, I am just sticking up for basement geniuses who lurk in our futures, and for whom those rules were likely created - to keep them suppressed. I am sure I can come up with a few examples... but these laws portend that there are none.

I understand where you are coming from as far as basement geniuses are concerned. However, I'm not very clear on what you mean by this: and for whom those rules were likely created - to keep them suppressed. Could you please clarify?
