Ovarian cancer has long been considered one of the scariest cancers because of its reputation as a silent killer. It was thought to have no early symptoms. By the time the cancer was diagnosed, it was usually too late to do anything about it. Its stealth nature was blamed for the fact that more women die of ovarian cancer than all the other gynecological cancers combined.
