Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced a new article of impeachment against President Bush in the House last Thursday. In a single, pointed resolution, he charged the president with lying to Congress about the presence of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) in Iraq, in order to obtain permission for a US attack.

In the hour before Kucinich brought his resolution to the floor, he sat down with Truthout for an interview.
We discussed the politics of justice, the quest for peace and the rationale for holding the administration accountable for its decisions on Iraq.

Videos one and two are at the site, along with many comments. I put this in Accurate Reporting because the site has comments such as the following:
It was extremely important historically, (despite Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi taking impeachment off the table) that Congressman Dennis Kucinich wrote articles of impeachment against both Bush and Cheney. Historians will always look back in amazement at this very dark administration and question why Congress did not act and impeach both Bush and Cheney. Now, Congressman Kucinich will have left a trail of the high crimes and misdemeanors that should have been followed through by the rest of Congress. Today, Congress' approval rating was 9%, which speaks volumes . . .
