Hooray for the librarian in my local library!

I went to the local library on Thursday to get my usual load of books. As I approached the book dropoff section, I noticed one of those magnetic stands on which are often placed announcements.

The announcement on this stand read:

READ a BANNED BOOK TODAY! PROTECT YOUR FREEDOMS!

I was ASTONISHED! I was PROUD, and I was VERY HAPPY to see this.

I immediately told the librarian how happy I was to see that sign out there. After I'd checked out my books, I bought a couple of books from the book sale room and included a nice donation with the price of the books.

Did they have a collection of books out too, or just the announcement? I was interested in knowing if they were advertising certain ones to read, or what. I've never walked into a library that had something like that, so that's great.
