This has turned out to be a favorite site as people all over the world have been watching the birth and nurturing of a pair of eagles on Hornby Island off Vancouver Island. Originally there was a pair of eggs, but they disappeared and it was surmised that they exploded because they were unfertilised eggs. The parents were older eagles and were believed to be too old for babies, so they moved the camera to another location and are now following the saga of a new pair of Bald Eagles being nurtured. Millions of people are watching this event. Enjoy.

The Eagle Cam is now receiving over 10 million page views a day so it may be slow! You will need Windows media player to view it. Great when the adults return to feed and care for their eaglets.

The sound is great. Love the wind, the babies peeps and the adults screeching. The jet aircraft is a little distracting though. There is an airbase at Comox nearby. The eagles seem used to the jets. Glad you got through. A very busy site.

I love it! I am glued to the screen just waiting for any movement. I am going to put my computer on that site tomorrow at work (school) so the kids (and I) can keep an eye on them all day.

Yes, I love the sounds. So peaceful and calming. I had it on over 3 hours this evening and didn't hear any jets yet.
