OMAHA, Neb. -- Two more children have been left at hospitals since a father dropped off his nine children at Creighton University Medical Center Wednesday night.

The state's Department of Health and Human Services confirmed that an 8-year-old boy was taken to Immanuel Hospital at 5 p.m. and an 11-year-old boy was taken to the same hospital at 8:30 p.m.

One of the boys was placed in foster care and the other is still at the hospital undergoing evaluation.

Law is too broadly written. Don't they ever proofread these things?

I can see your point Cat. But I also think that if someone has a kid and actually thinks dropping them off at a hospital is a good idea, then I have to say PLEASE LET THEM. They don't need the kid and clearly don't deserve her.

It is terrible for a child to know he/she is not wanted, but maybe this way those children can have a chance to find a home where they WILL be wanted?

Possible it is a matter of parents who can no longer care for their children?
