Enzyte’s "Smiling Bob" Going Limp
Steven Warshak, his mother and four other owners/operators of Berkeley Premium Natraceuticals (parent company of Enzyte) are being charged with conspiracy, money laundering, mail, wire and bank fraud after duping customers out of at least $100 million.
Warshak has been indicted on 107 counts for luring customers in with free offers and money back guarantees. The company would then bill the customers credit cards without authorization or refuse to award refunds.
Other products offered by Berkeley include libido pills for women, memory pills and night vision pills. The Feds claim that even the advertising is bogus, containing many fabricated “facts.” Mr. Warshak has vowed to fight the charges.
