Administrators say pre-kindergarten student’s action was ‘inappropriate’

WACO, Texas - School administrators gave a 4-year-old student an in-school suspension for inappropriately touching a teacher's aide after the pre-kindergartner hugged the woman.

A letter from La Vega school district administrators to the student's parents said that the boy was involved in "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment" after he hugged the woman and he "rubbed his face in the chest of (the) female employee" on Nov. 10...

Oh jeezus fucking krist. If that were my son, we would move. Any school district that is that completely fucking insane shouldn't be allowed to teach children. H hugs his teacher. I hug the kids I tutor. My god, they're nearly infants, how on earth could it be sexual for them to hug their teacher!!!!!!!!!!!! ARG! that is insane. Poor kid's going to be afraid of hugging now. Nice, hope that school has to pay for his therapy when he eventually needs it.

if that were my child there would be a scorching personal verbal reprimand with me doing most of the talking.

at the end of what i had to say would be the advisement for them to be prepared to here from my aclu attorney.

the teacher is probably a distant cousin of homphobe/hypocrite rev ted haggert.

...and probably has tits that stick out to the end of the hall.

BUT, keep in mind, this was an AIDE, which isn't the same thing as a teacher, although why the teacher went along with this stupidity, I cannot imagine, except that Texas just seems to have an overabundance of non-thinkers who make the news. Maybe the teacher didn't have anything to do with it, and most likely the aide didn't like this child in the first place.

I taught with a lady who had unusually large breasts and, if she'd reported every child who ever shoved his/her little face into those mounds when they spontaneously hugged her, the reports would've swamped the central office. Same goes for myself...I'm not large-breasted, but most of my third graders' heads reached the level of my chest. They'd always hug me, and they'd turn their heads to the side while I was in their embrace. One child liked to linger...she'd say "Mrs.___________, I can hear your heart." I'd look down at her and say, "Yep, so don' t you ever say I've not got one."

It's Texas... what do you expect? rational thought?

I agree with Stripy - it was in Texas, I don't think they hug there.

Was the four year old on her lap? Did she stoop down for the four year old to hug her "inappropriately?" Most four year olds aren't very tall...certainly not tall enough to reach the chest of an adult female....unless of course, the adult female was a midget.

But, midgets prolly aren't allowed in Texas...kind of like hugs.
