...Education and State.

Its funny how we, in America, recognize the State's corruptive affects on religion, but somehow think that same, corrupting influence won't affect schooling. The more gov't (esp. Fed) regulates education, the worse education becomes. Only people who are free to educate themselves will remain free-thinkers.

I find that to be a rather strange statement. It sounds like something W would say! :lol:

How does one go about educating oneself? Let's see your curriculum plan. How did you compile it? What learning essentials are you including? How will it be implemented? What are your goals and what strategies are you implementing to reach those goals? How are you going to evaluate the strategies? Who and/or what is going to be held accountable when the goals aren't reached? How are you going to tell a person with learning disabilities (assuming they're actually identified) that he or she has to "educate himself or herself?" How about those who are retarded?
