'Who slugged CNN's John Roberts?' bloggers want to know

CNN's Senior National Correspondent John Roberts appeared to be sporting a "mysterious black eye" during a television appearance earlier this morning, that has many bloggers trying to guess what happened. During the broadcast, no explanation was given for the apparent "shiner."

This is pretty odd, and I wonder what is behind this. I doubt he got it from a brawl with Larry King. (If so, King is in better shape than I thought. :wink: )
