i love this ole gal.

i can remember on more than one occasion in which she has been in press conferences and she starts asking some very tough questions in her usual pit bull style. she's tough as nails and i think she's the sweetest person you could imagine talking to.

i like to see chickenshit oreilly do an interview with her. she'd mop up the floor with his worthless neocon ass.

HA! That'll be the day....he hasn't got the balls it'd take to interview Helen Thomas. She's a national treasure... she'd indeed wipe the floor with "his worthless neocon ass" and she'd bring out the truth about him and his neocon president in the process. It'll never happen....unfortunately.

I remember how Sam Donaldson used to be a thorn in Ronald Reagon's side, too.

I would pay money to see that one ... rooster. I got to agree with Cath though. Don't think it will ever happen. Wish it would though, cause it would be so sooo funny!

I love Helen Thomas! She is indeed a national treasure. Has anyone read her book Watchdogs of Democracy? I haven't finished it yet but, thus far, it's excellent. She illustrates with glaring clarity how deeply the cowardly, sensationalistic corporate media has let us all down....especially when it comes to calling out this administration on their deceptions and distortions. I recommend it highly.

I haven't, but I'll get it my next trip to the bookstore.

Could this be why she is being moved from her front seat at press conferences? Just too tough for the jelly neocon centers?
