French official suggested Bush was behind September 11 PARIS (Reuters) - A senior French politician, now a minister in President Nicolas Sarkozy's government, suggested last year that U.S. President George W. Bush might have been behind the September 11, 2001 attacks, according to a website. |

loken, I found this piece in another source as well, some tv station. They seemed to be downplaying the whole thing similar to the treatment here. I suppose with the new government in France and the woman being part of that government they are all treading softly here. But from the article you cite I focused on this portion: [quote]According to a Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll carried out last July, more than one-third of Americans suspect U.S. officials helped in the September 11 attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could later go to war.[/quote] I think these are striking figures. One third of the nation believes their government is composed of criminals and killers of their own. Very telling indeed. |
