Fifty Nine years, two months, and twenty two days ago...on Sept 14, 1951...some nine years, two months, and 23 days after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, I made a trip to Ford Island, Hawaii to see the remains of that horrific attack on our U.S. Navy fleet. I was on my way to Japan...of all places to go after seeing what the Japs had done., to join my Navy squadron during the Korean war. These nine years after the attack, there were still many bomb craters, remains of sunken ships, and many damage building that still as they where after the attack.

So, tomorrow...December 7, 2010 Pearl Harbor Day stop for a moment and say a pray to all that died and were wounded on this day. May such a attack like Pearl Harbor never happen again.

Thank you for reminding us about the significance of tomorrow's date, KF...That was a sad day in history but Americans willing to sacrifice all won in the end. Today we aren't as willing to sacrifice much of anything for the good of all. And thank you for your military service, too.

PNAC and their ilk had their own Pearl Harbor with the 9/11 attacks. We have witnessed a second Pearl Harbor and those responsible have gone free. We have had no Harry Truman to track down the war profiteers that line their pockets with the blood of our soldiers and the innocents caught in the crossfire.

Not much tracking needed because they don't try to hide much anymore... one is named Dick Cheney and another is named Richard Perle. Lots more of them, too.

Yep!! 17 more of our finest, resting at D.A.F.B. today, with no family/friends to claim them.

I hope the pigs who put them there...

Had a wonderful Christmas!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
