I was doing some browsing, which led me to go back and re-inspect the second amendment of our consititustion which you all know. I know there are those of you who are against ownership. This is not what this thread is about though. In the context of attempting to explain the points of views from both sides, I read somthing which I found to be hysteracly funny. I mean, who could imagin such a thing:)

Quote:
Perhaps in the 1780's, the rise of a tyrant to a leadership position in the U.S. was a cause for concern. Today, the voters are much too sophisticated to elect a leader whose stated aims would be to suppress freedom or declare martial law. For the leader whose unstated aim it was to seize the nation, the task would be more than daunting - it would be next to impossible. The size and scope of the conspiracy needed, the cooperation of patriots who would see right through such a plan -- it is unfathomable, the stuff of fiction.

Hahahaha, do ya see it, voters to sophisticated...hahahah. Damn thats funny.
I think I will keep my weapons even if they deem it illegal, thank you very much
