As George W. Bush enters the last two years of his presidency, he faces a stark choice: to take the course of our nation's most resilient presidents or to act like the nation's most stubborn.

America's greatest presidents, including Abraham Lincoln, were agile leaders who managed to adjust their positions in response to changing political circumstances, but Andrew Johnson, who followed Lincoln in the White House, was an especially obstinate president. Historians now regard him as one of our most ineffective leaders

"Democrats work to help people who need help.
That other party, they work for people who don't need help.
That's all there is to it."

~Harry S. Truman

the bush legacy is crumbling right before his very eyes.

i just wonder at what point the dems and unltimately the entire country will have to come to before they decide to take/force serious legal action to stop this neofacist administration befoire it sends us down a path that could possibly destroy us in ways unimaginable.

the posturing of prewar iran that is now taking place comes to mind.

keep in mind who irans key allies are........russia and china.

does anyone honestly think that they are going to sit idley by and just watch as we invade/bomb thier ally who also is the source of thier oil supply?

the iranian oil burse is much more than just a piece of paper.

the bushicons seem to think they have all the influence and power they need to do as they wish.

they will be proven wrong.

much to our peril.

and the whore still rides.
