Cops: Tot thrown off mall walkway McLEAN, Va. — A toddler has died after a woman believed to be her grandmother threw her six stories off a shopping mall walkway in Virginia, police said on Tuesday.
The two-year-old fell from an outdoor walkway at Tysons Corner Center, in McLean, Virginia, on Monday at around 7 p.m., Fairfax County police spokeswoman Tawny Wright told msnbc.com.
Carmela Dela Rosa of Fairfax was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding after the incident, according to police.The story goes on to say that the woman will be charged with murder since the child has died.
