AP: GOP predicts doomsday if Obama budget passes

Congressional Republicans on Sunday predicted a doomsday scenario of crushing debt and eventual federal bankruptcy if President Barack Obama's massive spending blueprint wins passage.

But a White House adviser dismissed the negative assessments, saying she is ''incredibly confident'' that the president's policies will ''do the job'' for the economy.

White House Council of Economic Advisers chairwoman Christina Romer insisted that the nation's flailing economy will be rebounding by 2010.

Right-wing ‘tea party’ protest in Orlando features signs calling for the impeachment of President Obama.

After accepting illegal and unethical behavior for years from President Bush, the right wing has finally come around to advocating for the impeachment of a President. On Sat. March 21, more than 4,000 people gathered in Orlando for a “tea party” protest to denounce what they called “wasteful Washington spending.” The Orlando Sentinel quoted one attendee saying, “They need to shove that bum out,” referring to Obama. The signs that were distributed said “Obama Bin Lyin’ IMPEACH NOW”:

The “tea party” protests nationwide are being coordinated by the conservative public relations firm Freedom Works, which is run by former Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX). The tea parties are also being supported by Newt Gingrich, through his organization American Solutions For Winning the Future. Members of Congress, such as Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH), have appeared at previous rallies. In addition, Fox News’ Glenn Beck promotes the protests, and has launched a website publicizing the events

Let's not forget dumber of dumb and dumber that held up signs that said "We love Cindi." There was one 54-year-old aged well beyond her years.

What must be avoided at all costs is the appointment of a Special Prosecutor. That was the death knell for effective governing and leadership during the Clinton years. This type of activity makes it only more imperative that investigation and prosecution of the War Chimp and his criminal cabal be done. The assholes can no longer be allowed to frame the debate.
